Hey all. I think last year's fantasy football was a success and I wanted to know if there was more interest in doing another. If you are interested in joining us (you will be expected to log in weekly or turn over your team) please put whether you want in no matter what, or if your interest is more only if there is room. If you do want to join up, please let me know if you would like to do a face to face draft or an online one. We will set up a time and anyone who cannot show will be auto-drafted, but those of us who can make it will be able to live draft. All are welcome, Solarshock, BOMB, other, whatever. We'll be doing it through nfl.com or yahoo.com, I have to see how many people are interested and what my options are. Please let me know by this Tuesday, August 12 so we don't miss the first week like last year.
Hope to hear from lots of ya, this should be fun.

i vote online draft and propose another option, the EA sports fantasy football, because the big awesome bonus is that you can download the free fantasy football manager for the PS3 or do it on the computer, but the PS3 manager is awesome from what i have seen, you can monitor everything for the PS3

There are some who don't have a PS3. Also, family members are invited and I don't want to force everyone to buy a game just to play when I think the online choices are just as good. Doesn't stop anyone from doing, just don't want my game running on it.

I'd REALLY like to get in on this one. Depending on the time of the draft, it could get interesting. Work blocks "gaming, entertainment, gambling, etc..." ... really takes all the fun out of the work day (night) !
I'm sure Mick is in, too. We've talked about it since the mention on Twitter.
I know I've used Yahoo the last few years and it has worked well. You are able to adjust your league to whatever scoring & rules you want. Just mentioned since I wasn't in it last year.

NFL.com works like Yahoo, and tends to have faster refreshes on info. With the draft, you can create your draft order ahead of time, and it will automate your picks for you.
Since I'll be out of town for most of this week, that's my plan... use the automated draft feature.

I'm in with all the gnrpowder said, online draft sounds good, weekly login isn't a problem, and let us know. ..

Me My wife Papa Rock Mama Rock Spot Matt Brian Josh Mick Powder makes 10. NFL.com doesn't have any options other than 12, so we need 2 more to play there. Yahoo.com has more options and you can change the number of playoff spots and weeks. I will set the team up with an online draft on the 24th to give people enough time to set up their drafts and some time for the players to hurt themselves and be out for the year If I don't hear from anyone else for the last two spots (either reply, PM, or my email-fury@bagofmadbastards.com) then I will set up the yahoo, unless someone knows the options settings on NFL.com better than I do. Also, more than 12 can join up if you know of anyone else who would want to join. Just need to let know where to send the invite. PS-would anyone be wanting to throw down something "extra" for the winners? 10 or so extra? Let me know.

And that's why I said then he wasn't welcome to play. A simple login once a week isn't too much to ask. In fact, I consider it something that I shouldn't have to tell people. Otherwise it's an easy bye week and what the nuts is the point of that? We're still one person short. Invite who you may, just let me know soonest.

I need an email for Mick and Powder to send the invite. Just PM it unless you want it to be public. We are doing the yahoo one. 14 of us, 8 person playoff for weeks 14, 15, and 16. Invites already being sent out.

I sent them a Twitter as a reminder... just in case they didn't read this. Push comes to shove, I can get them for you.
Let me know, Matt
